Permanent Residence

The WorkVisa Serbia Agency guides you through the process of obtaining permanent residence

 

Permanent residence in Serbia is valid to:

  • A foreigner who is married for at least three years with a citizen of the Republic of Serbia or a foreigner who has permanent residence
  • A minor who has a temporary stay in the Republic of Serbia, if one of the parents is a citizen of the Republic of Serbia or a foreigner who has permanent residence
  • A foreigner who has invested in Serbia for the purpose of performing economic or other activities
  • A foreigner with Serbian origin
  • In foreigner who was permanently residing in the Republic of Serbia for an uninterrupted period of five years on the basis of a temporary residence permit

 

Documentation you need to give us if you ask for permanent residence on the basis of family reunification:

  • Filled application form for permanent residence
  • Evidence of fees paid
  • Photocopy of a passport (a site with approved temporary residence)
  • Two photos, 4×3 cm format
  • Doctoral certificate – the purpose of issuing certificates: to obtain permanent residence (not older than 6 months)
  • A testimony or other school document
  • Birth certificate
  • Evidence of the means of subsistence
  • Proof of ownership of the apartment or other housing basis
  • Proof of kinship with a Serbian citizen or permanently settled foreigner.

 

Documentation should be given to us if you ask for permanent residence on the basis of marriage with a Serbian citizen or a foreigner who has permanent residence:

  • Filled application form for permanent residence
  • Evidence of fees paid
  • Photocopy of the passport (picture page)
  • Two photos (4×3 cm)
  • Doctoral certificate
  • The purpose of issuing certificates: to obtain permanent residence (not older than 6 months)
  • A testimony or other school document
  • Birth certificate
  • Extract from marriage register (not older than 6 months)
  • Photocopy of the divorce judgment of the previous marriage (both spouses)
  • A photocopy of birth certificates for children
  • Evidence of the means of subsistence (certificate of employment of the applicant and spouse with data on the amount of salary)
  • A photocopy of a workbook or a retirement certificate
  • Citizenship of a spouse (not older than 6 months)
  • Proof of ownership, lease of an apartment or other basis of residence
  • Documentation you need to give us if you are seeking permanent housing based on employment
  • Filled application form for obtaining permanent residence
  • Photocopy of the passport (pages with approved temporary residence)
  • Two photos (4×3 cm)
  • Doctoral certificate
  • The purpose of issuing certificates: to obtain permanent residence (not older than 6 months
  • A testimony or other school document
  • Birth certificate
  • Evidence of the means of subsistence (confirmation of employment of the applicant with data on the amount of salary, photocopy of the work booklet and forms M1 and M4 (APR + VAT)
  • Proof of ownership of the apartment or other housing basis.
